The Lightship is a green eco-tourism centre. A mediaeval town house from 1390, it was a hostelry for pilgrims to Glastonbury Abbey. One double/family bedroom, one twin bedroom and budget space for pilgrims. New! Tea lounge with refreshments and newspapers, Turkish tea-garden by lamplight, stargazing roof room with telescope and amazing views of Tor (from Spring 2003). The Lightship is also available to let as a holiday cottage with self-catering --weekends, short breaks or by the week. |
